First i want to express my deep recommendations to watch this lovely lovely 37 episodes of anime. Death Note is really something, the first half is better than the second one, but it is defnitely worth watch till the end.
The last episode was yesterday and i was disappointed of several things, it maye contain spoilers, so if ya care avoid it
1- I really don’t mind the good guys win, but the way they won is really retarded, this series is all about smart people and smart and sleazy methods, and at the end the way they won is by coincedence and the fault of a MINION of Yagami Light. At the last part, judging by the smarter way and better anticipations, Yagami Light should have won, he anticipated their moves in details, but they didn’t predict his movie completely correct. I would love it if he won
2- The way they made Yagami Light react when he lost is really demeaning to his high status. Yagami light through the series always calm and smart and settle, and now at the end they made him look like a common criminal, that was a really really really stupid move, it felt like they wanna make him look like a bad mand and bad men always act cowardly at the end. I was really annoyed by this point, they should’ve made him take it like a man as we always known him.
3- Yagami light minion acted stupidly too, even though they portrait him as the super punctual person, the guy who has exact routine ALL the time. that didn’t feel right either.
4- The move Yagami Light tried to pull was stupidly done, trying to write the names on the clock paper is smart, but why they made him act so openly about it, at first he was sneaky and they didn’t notice, then suddenly he started screaming, that was stupid.
5- While dying, i didn;t like how he was screaming like an idiot, but i liked the fact that he asked from his minion for help and his minion sacrficed his life for him, that was compatiable with the story and the picture they have drawn of the characters.
6- The way the shinigami took Yagami Light life was cool too. it was settle as we expected, and it was honourable.
If anyone here didn’t watch the movie death note, i recommend it, watch bboth parts, but the second part is drastically better, and the way they end it is MUCH more better than the way they end it in the anime. and just for your information, the movie there is no Near or mello, so it ends with L. i really recommend watching it even if you watched the anime, the first movie Death Note is pretty similar to the anime except the last parts, the second one is more differnt, so u will enjoy it more. if you can’t find links to it, tell me and i will get you the links

ok good i did not read it! i download the episode yeasterday but i had no time to watch it! i was thinking of writting such a post! i’ll write my own version of it 2nsha2 alah! cuz i am very uupset from the last 10 episodes!
Well i have just finished it! The way the movie ends is nice though i did not watch it! There we’ll be an anime movie too! With the same end! Now here is the real manga story end! Light is shoot too badly and is about to die! After he asks mikami to help him mikami starts shooting at kira because what happened was all kiras fault and also mock him and say that he was no god but a devil! He then starts calling the other two girls misa misa and takada but near tell him where both are (one at the hotel while the other is a goner) he then tell ryuk to kill them, and he said I’ll do it! While he is writing every one starts shooting at him but he is a shinigami! He can’t die! And kira says that he won at last! but then it turns out to be light’s name that was written down! He reminds him of mu and go! what happens is that matsuda (this guy was as soft as a fly and at the end did everything) doubts that Near has written mikami’s name down in the note he found and made him not to check wither the notebook he has was fake (which he should have done if he was not controlled) after 10 days mikami dies of a heart attack at the prison which solidifies matsuda’s theory, but the note was burned and there was no evidence, and mogi tell him that if near had lost to N then that means they all would have been dead by now! the next year at the same were kira ended they spk and the other guys meet there to set up a trap for a drag gang (which means that kira was not better than the criminels he killed). amani messa commits suicide! (which is strange because 2 shinigamis had sacrificed their own lives for her and that mean she got a very long life span) and they show people worshiping kira and waiting for another one (everyone knew it was the end of kira somehow but they did not know it was yagami nor how the killing were carried)
Now here is my opinion about the thing! Near is big asshole, I just don’t know how he knew about mikami! He is nothing but an asshole! And yea light was mad at the end! But that is to show that his spirit was kindred by the death note. And that was obvious at the end! no may be when he killed L! Now I am really in a bad mood because I wanted Kira to win! Now at the end! L name was LAWLITE (it is read like low-light) which resembles the analogy between light and L! that is all! and I want kira to win I want him to winnnnnnnn! Why we just don’t come up with a different end???

and besides when he told near how he knew the notebook with him was real??? what a stupid question! he could see ruyk! and Near go confused! what a dump!
Hey sounds interesting, i didn’t know that they changed the ending for the movies.
honestly after the L vs. light I lost interest, i read the manga a while back. Near and melo and the lack of witty duels what turned me off from it.
I heard the producers forced the mangaka to make it so that in the end the good guys win, It would have been much better to end it after L died.
the movie ends after L dies. so there is no character near or mello. i agree with you, it went down hill after L died. watch the movie, the first one it will be pretty similar to the anime, the second one has pretty main differences
ok i have just watched episodes 24-37 in one shot, i know its pretty late considering u ppl saw it months ago, but thats what happened. anyway my comments on saad’s original post is :
yeah i agree first part was way better than the last , and after L death i completely lost interest in the show but just wanted to finish it.
and remarks on ur points :
1- yagami reacting as he did in the last episode is typical and is what i expected , if he reacted calm that would piss the shit out of me .
and the reason for that is basically he is a ” i win..end of story ” kind of guy , remember his tennis game with L ? remember how he acted all tensed and even L said that he is a person who wont accept failure, and to be smacked in the face right after he announces his victory was too much for him to handle, so he snapped and showed his narrowed mind - smartness doesnt overshadow closed phsycotic mind - this leading to his behavior.and ofcourse same thing goes to the minion ” face it a person calling a killer god isnt really stable :)”.
4-yeah i do agree about the clock-paper thing, at first when he snapped and was leaning towards the wall i thought he was already writing names on the paper , and was surprised he didnt.
i still havent checked any of the movies and i will ofc , coz L living is far more better than having near or mellow being their,i hated both
