One of the strongest swords is the Japanese katana, a sword that could cut dozens of carcasses before it loses its sharp edge. So I was thinking omg these Japanese people have always been the kings of industry.
Despite this incontestable reputation that this sword had, it fears only the Sultan of swords, the Damascus sword. I was quit astonished when I heard about this sword. It is a legendary sword, the gift of Allah to clean the crusaders from our lands lots of years ago. This sword could cut through the crusaders swords, and with adequate thrust it can cut through a rock, and it would stay as sharp as ever.
It was first forged by a guy dwelling Damascus, his name was Al-Dimashqi. The technique of forging such a sword was kept as secret for certain workmen in Damascus, but by the 18 centaury the technique was lost. Like the pride imbedded into such a sword refused to stay in our hands, until we value pride more than our lives again (Allah is the source of such pride for sure).
Despite all these years, the sword still retains much of its legendary fascinating magic, not only in terms of strength, but in its whole manufacturing process. They discovered that this piece of art contains carbon nanotubes and nanowires which indicate that the process of forging this sword had taken into consideration the nano-scale structures, which can be quit astonishing because it is something that started a couple of decades from our current time. And by that I really do not want to imagine what kinds of sciences were wasted into Bagdad’s rivers in the Mongolians saga.
The process is not discovered yet despite the going on trials to rediscover it. It may be discovered soon though, and they are expecting to be able to start producing unbelievable sharp steels, probably sharper and harder than the nitrated steels, that come second to diamond in hardness.
Until we have this type of superiority again I will leave you to please your eyes with the sight of our legendary lost legacy. For source Click here Plz. And here too!

now this is a supreme post! the sword looks great even though it has foriegn design - most arab swords as i recall werent forget to be straight like that - , but then again its a special sword to cut some 3oloojs heads off!.
and what grabbed my attention is this ” And by that I really do not want to imagine what kinds of sciences were wasted into Bagdad’s rivers in the Mongolians saga.” that is still being applied to iraqis scientists everywhere :(, just read the news of how many uni proffessors and doctors have been executed with their families, its sick
yea man! it is sick! by the time the fucken usa decided to attack iraq there were offically 100000 FULL PROFESSORS LIVING IN IRAQ! that does not include professors living out side iraq and associated and assistant professors! we were once talking about what could iraq be if it did not had some of the most devastating wars in our current time, they say that the amount of bombs dropped on iraq in 1990 was much larger than that dropped in all of world war II air strikes.
Baghdad and Jerusalem are the first to fall when Muslims drop their faith in Allah aside. But the shining side is that we who dwell east of Jordan River will kick the butts of Israelis in the end.
I have that sword on my lvl 20 paladin, big news
where did u get these pics from? After actually reading the post I’m kinda interested to find out more about this. ‘Cause as far as I can remember the arabs always were refering to the “Al Seif Al Yamani” as being the best ever. I remember that when they were raising funds for Palestine on the Jordan TV someone gave away his “Yamani Seif” and back then it was valued at 15,000 JDs if I’m remembering well (which was quite a fortune back then). The looks of this sword, too, don’t look very, erm, efficient. If you were to equip a whole army with such a good looking sword you’d need hundreds of years in the making. I would like to think of this Damscus sword as some kind of psychological warfare maneuvre that was used back then. Maybe even handed to the platoon leaders or something. Can’t see them forgetting to tell us about that sword that cuts through steel in history books. Even Frostmourne can’t cut through.. Well, Frostmourne can cut through w.e it wishes to cut through but it has the power of the Nerzul infused in it.
again..read carefull, the sword is one of a kind which i assume was made only for the khalifah to weild, and yes i think its some sort of psychological warfare maneuvre like u said because honestly; how many can a khalifah kill with one sword ?
lol! dude the sowrd is still being studied at top universities such as stanford! actually there are non of these still in any arabic country! all are in musems or at institues for study! actually 15000 jds is nothing when it comes to historical sowrds (even in the 90’s)a katana that is 200 years old costs millions!
besides this sword could really cut through steal swords! dude just search for it online and u shall find lots about it! or even ibn batotoa or one of these travelers! the cruseders who left back to their countries spread the news about this sword!
Actually many things were not told to us by history books! u remember the clock that one of the Emams sent to a european king, and when the clock ringed the king thought the clock had a demon inside??? or e5wan elsafa who refered to many theories such as evolving of life and that there can be alien life! Actually if I am to study arab history then I prefer books from outside any arabian country! or old books! really old ones!
btw dude how could u come to the conclusion that this sowrd is not efficient?? the wavy pattern is the source of its supremeacy, this pattern could not be reporduced! far by now! and this sowrd was not the first nor the last to cut through others! supreme sowrds could always cut through lesser ones! that is normal!
xzeer who said that the khalifa used??? omg! there was lots of these sowrds! actually they were importing its ignot from india! a special type of steel ignots!
My point was with their technology, with disregard of how sophisticated it was, they lacked the concept and ability to implement anything near massproduction of such a sword. Ya3ni even if you could point it at a man from 100 meters and kill him instantly and do a minor splash damage around him too, you will still lack the ability to produce a significant amount of such a sword in the life span of a smithy.
who told u man??? am still trying to see who told u??? long time ago mass production for anything was hard! and yet there were quit a good number of those swords!
And to support my point, try to google the immortals of the Persians, The Paladins of England, the Impi and many others. The immortals were the commandos of the Persian empire, and were actually believed to be immortal demons from other worlds with their masks and strange blades and they were “feared” rather than seen in combat. The impi were from the Zulu I think which were believed to have shields that link them to the after world so they can come back when they’re dead and had Voodoo powers.
Btw, the Yamani sword which was worth 15,000 JDs wasn’t an old sword. It was a new sword meaning that it’s value wasn’t because it was ancient nor wielded by some leader. It was just forged according to the Yamani specifications. Get me a katana made now for 15,000 JDs.
Quite a good number is not enough man
hahahah! dude u know little about katans! actually there are some guys who still forg katanas manually! they sell them for millions two! and actually that was something I saw once on Jazzera not on the internet!
and I still can not see what is the connection between what I say and what u say??? these infos are taken from A STANFORD STUDY ON THESE KINDS OF SWORDS! If these divisons of old armies u talk about are proved by honololo university I might consider believing it!
I can’t argue with what you said. Please give me a link to the Standford university study u were referring to. I will stop arguing until I have understood what they say there completely.
shit why I can not post links??? ok I will edit my post and put the link at the last line!
ok I made the link up! and u can search for other theories on the internet or in books or whatever u want!
another source is the nationalgeographic! I will post a link up again!
hope this is fine with u!!!!
I will not post a shit without making sure of it!
